DECORATING FOR FALL (AND HOW NOT TO OVERDO IT)

I can’t believe it’s already August! I love switching out our decor as the seasons change and I’m going to share some simple ways I like to achieve that cozy fall vibe. It’s easy to get caught up in everything labeled Fall and pumpkins, but I really prefer eliciting a feeling by adding in warmer textures and colors through things like pillows, art, and faux branches.

An easy and affordable place to start is with some digital art prints. I don’t mean swap out ALL the art in your home, but places like the kitchen, mantel or bookshelves are great places to make the swap. So instead of a pretty coastal print with cool colors, I might add something like one of these:

Pillows and throw blankets are another easy swap to make. Switch them all up or just add 1-2 warmer toned pillows and instantly transform your space. Some of my favorites for this fall season are:
